eLaw Firm PLLC’s founding partner Elisa D’Amico spent 15 years in private practice as a commercial litigator in New York and Miami. After law school she joined Weil, Gotshal, and Manges LLP and several years later moved to K&L Gates LLP where she co-founded its crisis management practice and served as co-lead of the firm’s global social media law practice. Leaving big law behind, Elisa founded eLaw Firm, a boutique law firm offering victims’ rights representation, including mass tort and social media-related litigation as well as bespoke concierge general counsel services.
Elisa received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in International Relations from Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business and a Juris Doctorate from Fordham Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Arizona, California, the District of Columbia, Florida, and New York, and holds an AV® Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell.
Elisa is well known for her groundbreaking work co-founding the Cyber Civil Rights Legal Project, a global pro bono project offering legal services to victims of image-based abuse. She has written and lectured about her work and has consulted for various media outlets about victims’ rights, social media harms, and other internet-based abuse.
